Treatment: Patient is suffering from Alopecia areata since 2 years. Treatment started from Dt 19/10/2013 with oral medicine and Raktmokshan. Improvement up to 40%.
Raktmokshan : Raktmokshan in this panchkarma many chronic diseases are treated by Leech. It is a blood purification therapy. Leeches are 'worms' with suckers on each end. Leeches can range in size from a half of inch to ten inches long. They are brown or black in color. Some feed on decaying plant material. Others are parasites, feeding on blood and tissue of other animals.
Leech at first bite, only sucks impure blood from the skin and only the pure blood is left.
